iPod mixer

This thing rocks. A dual iPod mixer for DJs. Looks like it will be way cool, but how does it sound when you’re “scratching” the song? Does it sound like moving an album across a needle, back and forth? If not, why not? And if so, that’s pretty sick.

 •
You cant change the tempo or do pitch lock so its kinda useless for djing unfortunetely, besides that its very cool.

 •
Dammit! That sucks! You’ve gotta be able to change the tempo; that’s DJ’ing 101. What were they thinking? They (Numark) should be able to buffer the music and create tempo change. But then again, Apple can’t even get rid of the gap between songs when playing thru iTunes, so who knows.

 •
This mixer has so many ins and outs that it can be a part of your DJ set up. If you want to scratch, add a turntable and scratch. I also think that all these playlist parties at bars are the karaoke of the future. I know my 12 song playlist can rock the crowd, it’s kind of fun to see that.
