Johannah has two decades of experience leading program and people operations in the education sector. Her career has focused on building and managing internal operations and staff. She is an experienced culture-builder, professional developer, and strategist, with a strong record of success in developing staff skill, performance, engagement, and culture.
Johannah comes to UnboundEd from the University of California, Berkeley Center for Executive Education at the Haas School of Business, where she was the Chief Operating Officer, and previously the Director of Program Management. Her work there included oversight of all program and service delivery, organizational operations, and providing senior leadership to the organization. Before that, Johannah worked as the Director of Talent for the Stupski Foundation, managing operations and human resources of the $150M private operating foundation. Prior to that she oversaw the operations and staff of Teach For America’s eight teacher training institutes, serving over 5000 new teachers each summer.
Previously, Johannah spent ten years working for SCORE! Educational Centers, a network of for-profit learning centers, running individual centers and in the corporate office focused on new product and service development, learning and professional development, and operations. A Bay Area native, Johannah holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from UCLA.
