    About Lacey

Lacey Robinson is the CEO of UnboundEd and CORE Learning. As CEO, Robinson sets the enterprise’s vision for transforming instruction to ensure every single student succeeds and thrives. A former elementary teacher, middle school principal, and professional development specialist, Robinson has devoted her career to empowering educators everywhere to break the predictability of historic achievement patterns.

As CEO, Robinson oversees the enterprise’s health, sustainability, and vision for how grade-level, engaging, affirming, and meaningful — GLEAM® — instruction can transform teachers’ experiences and student learning. In 2022, Robinson led the merger of UnboundEd, Pivot Learning, and CORE Learning under the UnboundEd banner — creating the nation’s largest K–12 educator development organization focused on meeting the needs of all learners.

Robinson is a leading national voice on addressing the predictability of students’ educational outcomes and was named to 2023’s Forbes 50 Over 50 list in recognition of her trailblazing leadership. Her book, Justice Seekers, released in July 2023, is a love letter to teachers inspiring us all to recognize that “justice is found in the details of teaching and learning®.” Robinson’s upcoming book, GLEAM: Teaching at the Level Every Student Deserves, comes out November 24, 2026. She frequently serves as a featured keynote speaker, and her personal literacy journey is shared on Emily Hanford’s “Sold a Story” podcast.

She is a proud graduate of Florida A&M University and Teachers College, Columbia University.
