Dr. Chen joins UnboundEd from Boston Public Schools (BPS), where she served as Senior Deputy Superintendent of Academics, leading the district’s academic strategy for nearly 50,000 students across 119 schools.
“In my role as president, I see a unique opportunity to scale UnboundEd’s transformative impact by establishing our organization as the nation’s premier partner for educational success in every classroom,” said Dr. Chen.
“I have long admired UnboundEd, an organization with a well-deserved reputation for rolling up its sleeves and standing side by side with teachers, principals, and district leaders to do the real work of ensuring that all of our students flourish.”
