Delve into the curriculum adoption process with support from experts.
With the passage of the Minnesota Reading to Ensure Academic Development (READ) Act, it is critical to start preparing to adopt new, aligned curriculum.
UnboundEd is excited to announce that we are hosting no-cost virtual professional learning workshops to support the adoption of high-quality English language arts materials.
We invite Minnesota school districts and charter management organizations to join us for professional learning grounded in the belief that all students deserve access to high-quality instructional materials (HQIM). Together, we can cultivate equitable learning experiences for all students.
Timeline
During the workshops, participants will:
Navigate the adoption process in alignment with the Minnesota context
Understand the technical and adaptive aspects of adoption
Engage with research-based instructional practices to inform adoption
Collaborate with and learn alongside fellow educators
Who should attend?
Participating districts and CMOs are required to bring a team of three to seven district leaders and assign three to the following roles:
- A project sponsor (senior leader) who will set the vision for the work and ensure coherence across other initiatives,
- A driver that will lead planning and manage the adoption for the district, and
- A district content expert who will provide subject matter expertise on the adopted HQIM.
Let’s take the next step together.
