Bethany Goldszer brings extensive experience in education, strategic partnerships, and nonprofit leadership to her role at UnboundEd. As Vice President of Development, she leads UnboundEd’s philanthropic development efforts, stewarding donor relationships and securing philanthropic support to drive growth and long-term sustainability.
Prior to UnboundEd, Bethany was a social studies teacher with the New York City Department of Education in the South Bronx before going on to hold leadership roles across NYC-based organizations and national nonprofits, giving her a broad perspective on fundraising and partnership development at both the local and national level. Throughout her career, Bethany has been driven by a core belief that every student deserves access to opportunity, and a results-driven, partnership-focused approach rooted in collaboration, transparency, and shared values.
Originally from the Midwest, Bethany now lives in the New York area with her family. She holds a BA in History from the University of Chicago, an MS in Nonprofit Management from The New School, and an MS in Teaching Secondary Education from Pace University.
