Jen has twenty-four years of experience in math education. She has taught at the elementary, middle, and high school level, but has a special place in her heart for middle school students and teachers. She has served in several leadership roles, most recently as the K-12 math director in Guilford County Schools. In that role, she led curriculum implementation and professional development at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. As Program Design Director, Jen will work on the development and management of the MILA (Math Identity Leadership Accelerator) grant, along with supporting coaches during the virtual summits. Jen is passionate about all students seeing themselves as mathematicians.
