Dr. Linda Chen has spent the past thirty years steadfastly focused on one mission: reshaping educational systems to truly work for all students. As the President of UnboundEd, Dr. Chen partners with educators across the country to deepen impact, promote instructional excellence, and ensure every student has the opportunity to flourish.
Dr. Chen most recently served as Boston Public Schools’ Senior Deputy Superintendent of Academics and as an inaugural member of the Google GSV Education Innovation Fellowship.
Before Boston Public Schools, she served as the Chief Academic Officer for the New York City Department of Education, Vice President for Engagement and Implementation at the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship, and in senior academic leadership positions at leading districts across the country.
Dr. Chen began her career as a teacher in Seattle Public Schools and is a proud graduate of the University of Washington and Columbia University, Teachers College.
