Shaterika Parks

Shaterika has worked in education for over 10 years. As director of staffing, she will lead the recruitment and selection processes for UnboundEd. Prior to UnboundEd, Shaterika served as the director of recruitment and retention at Winston-Salem Forsyth County Schools and has also worked as a sourcing specialist for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, as well as supporting recruitment efforts for a non-profits and charter management organizations. Shaterika began her career as a 7th-grade math teacher in her hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina. She holds degrees in business and economics from Mary Baldwin University and completed the Middle Grades Math Master of Arts in Teaching program at the University of North Carolina Charlotte. She is an HR Certified professional that finds joy in connecting passionate change-makers to impactful opportunities.
