Khaled brings more than fifteen years of education experience to his role at Education First, where he leads a body of work focused on instructional alignment, academic strategy, and assessment and accountability systems. Khaled’s recent client projects include assessment and accountability research and design in partnership with state education agencies, districts and the Walton Family Foundation, Gates Foundation and Chan Zuckerberg Initiative; a grant measurement and evaluation effort for charter schools in the the Silicon Schools Fund portfolio; and school quality, academic improvement and teacher retention coaching for school districts and CMOs in Texas, California, Maryland, North Dakota and Pennsylvania. Previously, Khaled provided strategy, research, project management and student support to a range of organizations, including the School District of Philadelphia, OneGoal, Northwestern University, University of Wisconsin-Madison and Chicago Public Schools.
