Dr. Ebony I. Green is an award-winning keynote speaker, author, leadership strategist, and Founder & CEO of Hello Kind Soul, a global movement grounded in the belief that kindness, emotional wellness, and human connection have the power to transform people, schools, workplaces, and communities.
She often describes herself as an ordinary person doing extraordinary things. Raised in rural northwest New York, she lost her father at the age of seven and spent much of her childhood searching for belonging, healing, and understanding. Those experiences shaped her lifelong commitment to creating spaces where people feel seen, valued, safe, and inspired to grow.
For more than 25 years, she has served as a teacher, principal, district leader, and nationally recognized advocate for inclusion and healing-centered leadership. Her work helps educators, leaders, and organizations navigate challenge, change, and human complexity with greater compassion, courage, and emotional awareness.
Today, organizations including the Gates Foundation trust her to help leaders strengthen culture, deepen connection, and lead with greater humanity.
Through her keynote speeches, professional learning experiences, and the Hello Kind Soul podcast, she challenges audiences to rethink what it means to lead, connect, and create environments where all people can thrive.
