Jessica Johnson

Partnerships Director

Jessica has diverse leadership experience in K-12 urban education. She taught and mentored at the elementary and middle school levels, in both general and special education. She served in several leadership roles to include Response to Instruction & Intervention Coordinator, District Math Administrator, and Principal. Jessica has served as a professional developer and panelist at district, state, and national level. The past 8 years as principal, she led a K-8 and middle school in 2 large urban school districts. As a “Pandemic Principal” she understands the many challenges that presently exist for principals and is excited as the Director, MILA Program Partnerships to help with the implementation of MILA in schools. Jessica is passionate about supporting district and school leaders to “implement meaningful structural changes that positively impact students’ math identity.”
