When you register for the UnboundEd Planning Process™ (UPP®) Pathway at Standards Institute™, your registration includes access to three follow-along lesson planning clinics — at no additional cost.
The lesson clinics are a direct extension of the learning you begin at your summer Standards Institute. Each cohort participates in three 45-minute virtual sessions, held in small groups and facilitated by an UnboundEd grade-level, engaging, affirming, and meaningful — GLEAM® — Instruction expert. Sessions draw on what you learn during Standards Institute, so there’s nothing new to learn — just structured time and expert support to apply what you already know.

A Resource for Instructional Leaders
Effective lesson planning is the foundation of GLEAM Instruction, grade-level, engaging, affirming, and meaningful. But knowing what good planning looks like and being able to name it in an instructional conversation with a teacher are two different things. This tool is designed to help leaders and teachers develop a shared understanding of what strong lesson preparation looks like, regardless of content area or grade-level.

Who is eligible for the UPP Lesson Clinics?
Lesson Clinics are available to teachers who register for the UPP Pathway at a 2026 Standards Institute (Bay Area, Chicago, New Orleans, Philadelphia).

Is there an additional cost to participate?
No. Access to the three Lesson Clinic sessions is included with your registration for the UPP Pathway at a 2026 Standards Institute, and there is no separate fee to sign up.

Do I need to participate in the UnboundEd Planning Process Pathway before attending the clinic?
Yes. The Lesson Clinics are designed as a follow-along support for Standards Institute participants who have completed the UPP Pathway. All three sessions provide implementation support for the GLEAM instructional strategies introduced at Standards Institute.
