Build instructional leadership capacity and ensure the effective implementation of high-quality instructional materials (HQIM) through the School Improvement Curriculum and Instruction Support Grant (SI CISG) with a partner trusted by districts nationwide.

UnboundEd works directly with Texas districts and campuses to turn LASO SI CISG funding into sustained instructional improvement. We customize support to align with your goals, context, and students, while fully meeting grant requirements and the Texas Education Agency’s (TEA) priorities.

About SI CISG

Administered by TEA, SI CISG provides direct funding to eligible Texas campuses to strengthen curriculum and instruction through the selection, purchase, and implementation of non-Bluebonnet HQIM in Mathematics or Reading Language Arts (RLA).

The grant supports School Improvement campuses by ensuring students have access to rigorous, Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS)-aligned materials, and that educators receive the implementation support needed to use those materials effectively.

Campuses may qualify for SI CISG support through the following pathways:

  • SBOE-Approved HQIM Support: Technical assistance for adopting a State Board of Education (SBOE)-approved HQIM in eligible grade levels (excluding materials in the Bluebonnet Learning suite).
  • Curriculum & Instruction Support: Technical assistance to strengthen curriculum and instruction in grade levels where an SBOE-approved HQIM list does not exist.

UnboundEd partners with Title 1 school improvement and CSI (Comprehensive Support and Improvement), ATSI (Additional Targeted Support and Improvement), and TSI (Targeted Support and Improvement) campuses to deliver SI CISG support focused on:
