Texas LASO Cycle 4 + UnboundEd

Partner With UnboundEd to Bring LASO Cycle 4 to Life

UnboundEd is proud to be an approved provider for the Learning Acceleration Support Opportunities (LASO) Cycle 4 grant. We help districts strengthen instructional leadership, accelerate student learning, and build sustainable systems of support under the LIFT (Leadership and Instructional Foundations for Texas) and SI CISG (School Improvement Curriculum and Instruction Support Grant) initiatives.

The Texas Education Agency’s (TEA) LASO Cycle 4 grant funds comprehensive, multi-year support for districts adopting high-quality instructional materials (HQIM) and implementing Bluebonnet Learning. Through two grant pathways — LIFT and SI CISG — LASO Cycle 4 supports districts in strengthening their instructional systems, developing leadership capacity, and enhancing student outcomes through evidence-based professional learning and aligned coaching.

As an approved provider for both LIFT and SI CISG, UnboundEd partners with Texas districts to provide end-to-end support — from application to implementation. Our team helps districts navigate the grant process with clarity and confidence, ensuring you understand eligibility, meet timelines, and develop a strong, fundable plan for impact.

Once awarded, UnboundEd can continue as your implementation partner, delivering a three-year, grant-funded program that builds lasting instructional capacity. Through integrated professional learning and leadership development, we equip districts to strengthen instructional leadership, accelerate student learning, and build sustainable systems of support.

About LIFT

LIFT is a three-year, TEA-funded initiative that helps districts build stronger instructional leadership, align systems around HQIM, and sustain lasting student success. As an approved LIFT provider, UnboundEd works side-by-side with district teams to integrate strategy with classroom practice and translate plans into measurable results.

In collaboration with TEA, UnboundEd partners with Texas districts to design coherent structures for teaching and learning, ensuring that effective instruction isn’t a moment, but a system that endures.

Through LIFT, UnboundEd works alongside districts to:

  • Build strong instructional foundations that empower leaders and teachers to deliver effective, grade-level instruction.
  • Align HQIM adoption and implementation with district systems for coaching, professional learning, and data-driven improvement.
  • Sustain instructional quality and leadership capacity long after the grant period ends.

LIFT Application Consults

The LIFT grant application deadline is December 3, 2025. UnboundEd is offering one-on-one LIFT Application Consults to help districts finalize their submissions.

Flexible Support Tailored to Every District

Every school system starts from a different place. UnboundEd meets districts where they are — whether they’re adopting HQIM for the first time or refining well-established systems. Our customized approach ensures that every partnership begins with a clear understanding of district needs and results in sustainable instructional growth.

Below are examples of how UnboundEd tailors support for systems at different stages of HQIM implementation.

Year 1: Implementation

  • Apply best practices for change and performance management
  • Establish expectations for lesson internalization
  • Conduct Bluebonnet Learning-focused observation and feedback routines
  • Align assessment and operations with curriculum implementation
  • Refine performance management systems

Our Ongoing Partnership Cadence

No matter a system’s starting point, UnboundEd provides consistent, high-touch support throughout the partnership.

  • Monthly coaching involves structured collaboration cycles with system and campus leaders to strengthen HQIM implementation and ensure consistent instructional progress.
  • Weekly, district-level, system leader meetings provide strategic opportunities for leaders to plan, monitor progress, and drive meaningful instructional change across schools.
  • Monthly professional learning and walkthroughs bring district and campus teams together to analyze implementation data, learn new strategies, and build shared action plans that sustain improvement over time.
